Aimee Hartstein, LCSW
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
I’m here to offer you a space to figure out who you truly are.
It’s easy to lose sight yourself, especially when navigating career, relationships, caregiving, and the responsibilities of day-to-day life. You may be questioning yourself as you seek out relationships but can’t seem to find one that feels right. Or perhaps you are experiencing the challenges that come with managing the division of labor at home and wrestling with who you are outside of being a parent, partner, or employee.
I work with clients who are struggling in their relationships, exploring questions related to their sexual or gender identity, or navigating challenges related to anxiety and depression. As your therapist, I’m not here to tell you what to do or how to live your life, but rather to help you discover the answers within yourself.
As adults, we assume we should know who we truly are, but that’s not always the case. I want to offer you a place where you can show up, reconnect with, and explore your true, genuine self. Not just the happy parts but also the parts you may have felt shame or embarrassment about. The more you are yourself and the more you have of yourself, the more satisfied you can be in your life.
I genuinely love the work that I do. I’ve been working with both individuals and couples for over 20 years, serving in different settings including Planned Parenthood, Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, and a wide variety of mental health clinics. I also have advanced training in the areas of relationships, marriage counseling, infidelity, and divorce. I have co-founded this practice as a way to create a community of like-minded, passionate clinicians.
