LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Helping you gain personal insight and practical tools that lead to change.

In this fraught time of social isolation and personal struggle, mental wellness and self-care often take a back seat to more pressing needs. This can lead to a vicious cycle of mood alteration, anxiety, low self esteem, and inability to follow through with goals and plans. You may be grappling with job performance issues, interpersonal conflicts, marital issues, parenting struggles, and other patterns of recurrent maladaptive thoughts and behaviors.

You know your current coping skills are no longer serving you, but without professional support, these self-destructive patterns and cycles are difficult to understand and break. If you are someone who wants to bring the best version of yourself to the table, and can't seem to break through on your own, I would like to help you get to the root of your issues, and support you in creating a narrative and a roadmap for sustained well-being and success.

I am a highly perceptive, well-attuned, interactive, and eclectic therapist with over 14 years experience working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I utilize my varied and extensive training and experience in social work (MSW from NYU), in- and out-patient psychiatry and medical settings, and post-graduate specialization in supporting clients with eating disorders and substance use disorders to provide well-rounded, supportive care to my clients.

I don't use a single method or modality, but rather tailor my support and interventions to meet your unique needs and individual history and make-up. This includes examining and understanding your past relationships, childhood experiences, and your here and now struggles; all with an eye towards developing meaningful insight, and practical skills and strategies to address unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I feel privileged to be a part of my clients’ journey through this dynamic, challenging, and enlightening therapy process.
